High-voltage switchboard is the functions of on-off, control or protection in power system generation, transmission, distribution, electrical energy conversion and consumption.According to the electrical apparatus with the voltage grade of 3.6kV ~ 550kV,the high-voltage switchboard is divided into several categories, such as high-voltage disconnecting switch and grounding switch, high-voltage load switch, high-voltage automatic reclosing and sectionalizer, high-voltage operating mechanism, high-voltage explosion-proof distribution device and high-voltage switchboard.
The switchboard should meet the relevant requirements of the "AC metal-enclosed switchgear standard", and it is composed of two parts: the cabinet body and the circuit breaker. The cabinet body consists of casing, electrical components (including insulating component), various mechanisms, secondary terminals and wire etc.
